Presentation Description: This program presents a photo-guided tour of our bike trip from Passau, Germany down the beautiful Danube River to Vienna, Austria. Images from each day of the 350 km ride will show how the wonderful landscape changes from misty mountains to bucolic villages to beautiful hillside vineyards. We’ll discuss some of the myriad possible side trips along the river. Also included is information on highlights of Vienna – a beautiful, walkable city with boundless music, history and art to explore and experience. We’ll wrap up with a “How To” on organizing your trip with lessons learned on how to pack, equipment, where to stay, planning extra days and communications. Adventurers can plan your own tour, but we’ll also discuss the advantages of organized tours and how to tailor your trip.
