Jeffrey Yoest presents My Experience Hiking the Buckeye Trail;

A volunteer of the Buckeye Trail Association for over 25 years, Jeff Yoest recently completed his long time dream to hike the length of the Buckeye Trail this past Autumn. Over the years, he has hiked numerous regions of the US, and two trips to Scotland. Beginning in 2019, over a 3 year period of over 20 section hikes, he covered the whole of the 1440 miles. Hear about his personal journey experiences, and the wonderful natural, historic and cultural sights along the longest loop trail in the US, all within the confines of the State of Ohio. The BT may not have the clout of the Appalachian Trail or other more famous treks, but in many other ways, a sojourn on its path can be a hiking experience second to none.

Jeffrey is Dentist and native of Ohio with 25 years as a member of the Buckeye Trail Association. He and his wife are life long lovers of nature.  It’s not untrue to say my wife is a nature lover, but a backpacker, she is not!
