Sofia Lopez-Mimendi presents The Healing Powers of Nature and Perusing our Dreams;
Sofia Mimendi is an avid trail runner, passionate about skiing, and the co-founder of Aclipse campervans. A Cincinnati campervan rental business. After being sucker punched by life, when her 28 year old husband got diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, Sofia and her husband Shane, relied on the peace and clarity that trail running gave them. Between getting the wind knock out and taking the next breath, she realized that she built strength by spending time in the outdoors and having adventures in new places with the people she loves the most. Spending time in nature was incredibly healing for them. So after being knocked down, she decided to get back up, make a plan, and go after her passion, to help people get outside, disconnect and create memories with their loved ones.
Bio
Sofia was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. She came to college in the U.S. to play tennis and run cross-country. She has been in the U.S. ever since. She has a BA and MBA from Lincoln Memorial University. She loves trail running and exploring new places. Starting Aclipse Campervans has been one of the most exciting adventures. She is passionate about finding new trails and skiing in the winter. She loves living in Cincinnati.
