Rachel Nagle has spent the last 2 winters (Antarctica Summers) leading stand up paddleboarding experiences off of a cruise ship in Antarctica. Experience the journey of being at sea for 40+ days each year leaving from Ushuaia, Argentina and visiting the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula. Experience the sights and sounds of hundreds of thousands of penguins including them swimming under your stand up paddleboard, whales swimming near your boat, snowshoeing on fast ice, a helicopter ride, and the serene beauty & stillness of paddleboarding among icebergs. Be inspired to want to SUP in one of the coldest places in the world! Oh, and if you’re wondering, you are as likely to see porcupines in Antarctica as you are polar bears; that is: you won’t! Come to the presentation to see why porcupines made it into this title!
