The core of the Adventure Summit are the presentations. Programs range from an inspirational story to explaining a technical outdoor skill. All programs focus on human-powered recreation encouraging visitors to “Get Out and Live.” These sessions truly exemplify the theme of the Adventure Summit: outdoor skill, outdoor culture and outdoor experience.
Presentations are free and open to the public. Up to eight programs are offered every hour of the summit when a featured presentation is not scheduled. No registration is required; walk-ins are encouraged.
The Skylight Lobby houses most of the classrooms including Apollo Rooms (A and B), Endeavour Rooms (A, B, C), Atlantis, with the Admissions Classroom adjacent to Volunteer Check in near the main entrance, and Discovery Rooms (A and B) along the main hallway between the entrance and expo. Each room offers full multi-media media capabilities and comfortable seating fostering an environment for enjoyment and inspiration.
There is something for everyone, from the hardcore adventurer to the armchair enthusiast. Our volunteer presenters are eager to share their story and skills. Occasionally, even a misadventure or two!
