Bikepacking the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon

Lance Smith

^

The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon Loop is a 118-mile, breathtakingly scenic ride through the mountains and valleys of central Pennsylvania. This loop follows the beautiful Pine Creek Rail Trail as well as multiple forest service roads. It reaches a high point of 2,044 feet, giving an expansive view of the Pine Creek Gorge, also aptly named “PA Grand Canyon”.

This ride can be completed in two to three days, can be tailored for beginners, and has some fantastic camping and dining options. There are multiple waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and man made things to see along this route.
For anyone looking for an exciting, blood-pumping ride in some of the best scenery in the east, be sure to attend this presentation!
