Founder and Executive Director of Paddle Perry, Inc. located in Cannelton, IN. Kelly Hess has been paddling all her life, but really dug in when she moved back home in 2017. After sending out a public invitation to meet and talk about paddling in Perry County the nonprofit was formed in 2019 by like minded and enthusiastic individuals who all wanted to expand on what a paddling group looks like in our area. Our mission is to paddle the waterways of Southern Indiana for fitness and fun while educating about safety and conservation. Since the formation of this group, Kelly has become an advocate for the Hoosier National Forest and Ohio River.
