From Nervous Beginner to Fearless Explorer: The Stories of Becoming a Solo Female Traveler

Kelsey Fulton

^

If you’ve ever watched a solo traveler online and thought, “Good for her… but absolutely not me,” Kelsey is here to change your mind. What began as tagging along on group trips slowly evolved into local solo outings, and eventually into bold international adventures that most people only dream about. Her journey has taken her from staying in the Peru Cliff Pods perched high above the Sacred Valley, to hiking down to the Grand Canyon’s iconic Phantom Ranch, to diving with bull sharks—each experience building a deeper sense of confidence, capability, and awe.

Kelsey now shares these stories with one mission: to inspire other women to take their own leap into solo travel. She believes confidence is a muscle you build. And if she could start from square one and grow into the woman climbing cliffs, crossing canyons, and diving with apex predators, then you can absolutely build that same muscle too.
This presentation is all about the stories along the way going from the first step, the next step, and eventually, the big, breathtaking leap to Solo Traveler.
