Buoy to Buoy, Green Journey 2.0 – cycling pilgrimage from the northernmost tip of the contiguous 50 states (Northwest Angle, Minnesota) to the southernmost point of the continental US, Key West Florida. The 71 day pilgrimage cycling on a solar assisted recumbent tricycle covered 3,546 miles through 11 US states during the fall of 2025. The route connected iconic US trails including the Paul Bunyan & Lake Wobegon Trails (MN), Elroy Sparta & Badger State Trails (WI), Jane Addams & Hennipin Canal Trails (IL) Cardinal Greenway (IN), Wolf Creek & Great Miami Trails (OH) Natchez Trace (TN & MS), Chief Ladiga Trail (AL), Silver Comet & Belt Line Trails (GA) Van Fleet & Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trails (FL). Could this “Snowbird Route” be the next Great American Rail-Trail?
