I have walked the Camino de Santiago 4 times since 2019. I walked the Camino Frances across northern Spain three times, and the fourth time was on the Camino Portuguese. I have found this to be a deeply spiritual and gratifying experience, walking between 240 and 500 miles. I have a presentation explaining how I came to walk the Camino, what the Camino is, a graphic showing many Caminos that lead to Santiago, my preparation for the Camino, some of my favorite places, and the people I met along the way.
Bio
I am first of all a wife, mother, and grandmother. I have a deep sense of and desire for spirituality in my life. I graduated from United Theological Seminary here in Dayton with a Master of Arts in Religious Communication. I first walked the Camino de Santiago in 2019 and started my blog as a way to share that journey with others. The Camino has come to be a metaphor for life, a journey that shapes me and draws me closer to the Divine. The Camino continually calls to me, and I answer as often as possible.
