Mother and son, Cheri and Gerald Maitland enjoy volunteering at the River Raisin National Battlefield Park in Monroe, MI and shareing their passion and education from visiting all the national park service sites, which took 8 years. Honoring the loss of father and husband, Jim Maitland who navigated unbelievable terrain and made our epic adventure and world records possible.
