Used Gear Sales

Supported by Arrow Outpost benefiting the Five Rivers MetroParks Foundation

Visitors to the Adventure Summit have a chance to pick up some lightly used outdoor recreation related equipment, or to sell the gear they no longer use to earn extra cash! The Used Gear Area provides a great place for outdoor adventurers to recycle their used gear and reduce waste going into our landfills. It also may encourage new adventurers to try outdoor recreation at an introductory rate.

Sellers can consign gear, earning 70% of sales – an increase of the 50% rate used in-store! Visitors can also donate gear for sale on behalf of the  Five Rivers MetroParks Foundation, and 90% of the proceeds will go to the Foundation.  At the end of the event, Arrow may also elect to buy out items that don’t sell during the event, provided they fit into store guidelines.

Cash or card accepted. For your convenience there is an ATM located on the upper level near the Credit Union.

  • Location: Next to the natatorium entrance in the Upper Atrium of the Wright State University Student Union near the bookstore.
  • Hours: Saturday 9am to 5pm

Pick up unsold used gear by 5:30pm on Saturday. Items that are not claimed by 5:30 on Saturday will become the property of Arrow Outpost. Payouts will not be made onsite – they will be administered no later than the following Friday Feb 27.

Unclaimed sales money will be donated to the Five Rivers MetroParks Foundation.
