Demonstration of Kayak Rescues & Re-Entry Techniques

No need to get wet! Join us at the WSU pool for an informative session while you watch and learn as we demonstrate several variations of kayak rescues and show you how to re-enter a kayak while in the water.
Our ACA-certified kayak instructors will demonstrate the following techniques and maneuvers: wet exits (no skirts), assisted T/X re-entry, heel hooks with slings, self re-entry with paddle floats, a “scramble”, scoops, low and high braces and a bow rescue.
