The rise, and the disastrous fall a competitive cyclist. From riding races, to 7 spine surgeries and two elbow surgeries. Learn about the journey back to the top – as Harold overcame impossible odds to return to his beloved sport. After 11 long years of rebuilding. And race yet again.
It will be immersive in that I will discuss my previous racing and then the physical issues, then the rise ending with video clips of me actually racing my first race in 11 years, and it being a 6-hour race to boot.
Meet Harold Holdren, a seasoned Competitive Mountain Bike XC and Cyclocross racer boasting over 30 years of racing experience. As a dedicated coffee enthusiast and a retired Search and Rescue Chief, Harold’s life is a testament to both athletic dedication and diverse passions.
