Stories from the Camino de Santiago: A Journey of People, Places, and Pilgrimage by Michelle & Brian Coleman

February 10 @ 2:15 pm - 3:15 pm

Brian and Michelle Coleman will take you on a journey through the Camino de Santiago as they walked 600 miles last summer on the Camino Frances, from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela, and on to Finisterre and Muxia. They will share stories of the people they met along the Way, explain why they keep going back, and what Camino they are planning next. You’ll see stunning views and landscapes, from the mountains to the sea, and experience the excitement of the cities they visit. From home-cooked meals to a Michelin Star restaurant, they’ll take you on a culinary adventure. And finally, they’ll talk about the sense of community and belonging they felt as part of the larger pilgrim family. Sit back, relax, and join Brian and Michelle on this unforgettable adventure.

Since 2006 Michelle & Brian Coleman have traveled throughout the United States and parts of Canada, Mexico, and Europe. They spend part of the year in Dayton, Ohio where they are both teachers. When they are not in the classroom you will find them exploring. They have backpacked parts of the Appalachian Trail and North Country Trail, have visited/hiked more than 40 national parks, completed some bike touring, and walked five pilgrimages
